About the Project

This project, promoted by the Municipality of Madalena do Pico and co-financed by the PRORURAL+ program, aims to enhance the craftsmanship of Pico, restoring its essence, history, and key figures. The lacework of Pico is a cultural element, a symbol of identity, that must be promoted as a tool for local development and territorial promotion.

The goal is to make the rendas de farpa a true emblem of the municipality, the island, and the region.
